Cesare comes from a musical background. He graduated at Berklee College of Music in Boston and went on to specialize in film scoring after he was back in Italy. During his US days Cesare has produced dozens of bands and fellows Berklee students, while setting up his own indie techno-rock band, The Dream Machine. Later on he founded a new band, the faboulous FAS.

Cesare is also a massive TV geek, a passion which landed him jobs at RAI, the Italian PBS, and Endemol, where he worked in New Product Development. This insane obsession with television and film lead him to Andrea, another seriously obsessed individual. They met during the principal photography of The Mark, an Italian/Spanish co-production surprisingly distributed in a mind shattering huge lot of territories. Andrea wrote the spec script, Cesare wrote the music (of course!). After that it was, as they love to say, a... living Viral Show!

Viral Show is their brain child. This right brain dominant freak of nature named Cesare is the show producer, personally did all of the editing and post-production CG wonders, on top of the usual soundtrack things.

In real life Cesare enjoys long walks on the beach and his favorite drink is a Pina Colada.

Cesare is also Sat-Anus voice actor for the English edition.

ANDREA MATERIA
Co-Founder / CEO

Andrea, 36, a Law degree and a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Management, started dealing with the New Media business in the late 90’s, when he worked as a strategic consultant for Livolsi & Partners in Milan. After a short while he was hired by Fininvest to help running their first streaming content farm. In 2001 he quit Fininvest and had his very first and very successful start-up experience (he became an early provider of wireless gaming applications).

During the last few years Andrea mainly worked at RAI, the Italian public broadcasting service, where he created dozens of original TV and Radio formats, both writing and hosting more than 500 live infotainment daily shows. Sometimes even with pretty decent ratings, primarily in the 18-35 demographics.

In 2003 he signed the screenplay for The Mark, his first full-length feature film, distributed in Italy by Universal Pictures. He was also associate producer for that legendary cult movie, whose soundtrack was composed, guess who?, yes, by Cesare Ranucci. He’s now trying to raise funds for a new horror pic, Doomed. He already self-financed and directed a teaser trailer, available on the ubiquitous YouTube.

He loves watching obscure low budget movies with exotic concepts and esoteric Japanese anime. And he reads a lot of graphic novels and manga, supposedly because of his 15+ years parellel career as publishing director at a number of specialized companies, but inside sources say the truth is he’s too much of a fanboy. On the other hand he always indulges in those activities with a huge popcorn-filled cup at hands’ reach, so Hollywood might still not have lost him.

Andrea is also Sat-Anus voice actor for the Italian edition. Go figure.

MARIO BELLINA

Spaziomario, also known in a couple of underground circles as Mario Bellina, is an up-and-coming TV and Radio creator. In the last few years he went on to gather more than 300 nation-wide broadcast programs credits for RAI and other Italian multimedia companies.

In a paradoxical twist worth of his own morbid scripts, Spaziomario is both a screenwriter and director for animated shorts and children’s television shows and the genius mind behind slasher/splatter mobile horror series for 3G terminals like his acclaimed Shlomo. He also published a number of fiction and nonfiction books and recently started managing a line of reference pop culture books with the indie publisher Jar.

Spaziomario is the kind of author who has lost any interest in the old fashioned pen-driven calligraphy. A long time ago he applied digital Wi-Fi connected extensions to his phalanx bones… unfortunately this supposedly smart enhancement exposes him to any sort of viruses and trojans, and that’s how we infected his system and forced him to write each and any Viral Show script!

With a nasty variant of the malware we also brainwashed him into believing he’s a professional Puppet Master, so that he could make Sat-Anus and the Viral Show cast move in a godly, trance-inducing manner.
